Activity Days 2025

Below is a list of options and a brief description of trips and activities for Tuesday July 8^th to Friday July 11^th 2025. The prices are at full price and Pupil Premium families can access a discounted price of 50% if they have not already received Pupil Premium funding to support other trips this academic year.

Pupils should be looking to select four options from the choices given. The options will then be taken into consideration filling up the residential trips first. Year 9 pupils completing the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh will be completing their expedition over one of the two-day blocks, therefore they will receive priority choice for their other two-day option.

The options will be filled in via the form (link) that will go live from Thursday 10^th October. This form will only be open till Thursday 17^th October to allow us maximum time to assign students to their trips and then get information out to parents and carers for first deposits.

School trips are a privilege and staff leading trips are giving up their own time to give pupils this incredible opportunity. To attend these trips, pupils will be expected to adhere to school behaviour policies/expectations (prior to trip and during trip) and a have a high (95%+) or rapidly improving attendance rate. Any pupils who do not meet our expectations around behaviour prior to the trip, such as defiance/not following instructions in school, pose a potential risk to the safety and welfare of others and will be removed from the trip. Please note, payments paid to the tour operator will be non-refundable. 

These expectations are outlined in our Home School Agreement which can be found on our school website. 

For all trips that involve a cost, the minimum number of pupils are required for the trip to run. If the minimum number of pupils can’t be met, trips may be cancelled, and pupils would need to select another option.

Payment Due Dates

All trips involving a cost, 50% of the total of trip(s) must be paid in the first payment to confirm the pupil’s place. This includes pupils entitled to the Pupil Premium discount.  Notifications will be sent via MCAS when payments are available to complete.

Residential payment dates

1^{st –} Deposit 50% due by Friday 15^th November (Including PP)

2^nd – Balance payment due by Friday 7^th March

Non-residential payment dates

1^st – Deposit 50% due by Friday 29^th November (Including PP)

2^nd – Balance payment due by Friday 7^th March
