House Davies

Almost everybody in Cromer is related or friends with a Davies and most of the fishermen in Cromer derive from family Davies. Indeed, they are Cromer's most famous fishing family and provider of the last two coxswains of Cromer lifeboat.

The Davies house motto of 'Fortuna Audentes Juvat', mirrors the Davies spirit of going out to sea in whatever the weather, to serve our town. We name our house after this incredible family in recognition of their commitment to our town over the centuries.
